Instituted in 1900. Five-piece construction, in silvered bronze with red enamels, measuring 51 mm (w) x 54.5 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, intact enamels, original triangular ribbon with hook and eye, very light contact, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, the lid marked with the Imperial crown and inscribed "ОРДЕНЪ / ЗА ВОЕННА ЗАСЛУГА / V. Сiii" in gold-coloured ink, white embroidered fabric inside lid and padded, white felt recessed medal bed, measuring 72.2 mm (w) x 116 mm (h) x 24.3 mm (h), extensive soiling and wear evident on the exterior, case fair.
