(Motorsport Erinnerungsmedaille). Constructed of patinated bronze, the obverse bearing a central raised Silesian-style German national eagle, circumscribed by an inscription of “3 TAGE-MITTELGEBIRGSFAHRT 1936” (“3 DAY CENTRAL MOUNTAIN TRIP 1936”), above initials “O.N.S.” for “Oberste Nationale Sportkommission für den Automobilsport in Deutschland” (“Supreme National Sports Commission for Motor Sports in Germany”), flanked on each side by a mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised signature of Adolf Hühnlein, circumscribed by his title of “DER FÜHRER DES DEUTSCHEN KRAFTFAHRSPORTS” (“THE LEADER OF GERMAN MOTOR SPORTS”), unmarked, measuring 156 mm in diameter, with only slight loss of finish evident to high-contact points, in overall extremely fine condition.
