Germany, Wehrmacht. A Tropical Field Gun Barrel Cover

(Feldkanone Fassabdeckung). An unissued Wehrmacht tropical field gun barrel cover, constructed of an olive-drab cotton-based canvas cylinder, with the tip completing in a khaki-tan twill cover, the rim with a hollow channel through which is looped a grey cotton drawstring emanating from both ends to tie together for a secure fixture to the barrel, unmarked, measuring 260 mm (w) x 600 mm (l) when folded flat, in near mint condition.
