Germany, Heer. An Armored Marksmanship Lanyard Badge, by Assmann

(Gepanzertes Treffsicherheitsabzeichen). A badge constructed of oval shaped silvered aluminum, the obverse with a border of geometric designs, a Heer-style national eagle clutching a mobile swastika perches at the top of the wreath, a tank superimposed in the centre, with its right tank track extending over the edge of the badge, the reverse plain with two prongs, maker marked with initial A for Assmann, measuring 39.44 mm (w) x 52.89 mm (h), and in overall good condition.
