A mixed service branch lot of three postwar signed Knight’s Cross recipient photos, including one depicting SS-Sturmbannführer (later SS-Oberführer) Sylvester Stadler, in uniform and with the Knight’s Cross (awarded on 6 April 1943) with Oak Leaves (awarded on 16 September 1943) and an array of other decorations clearly visible, not depicted are the Swords (awarded on 6 May 1945), the reverse bearing Stadler’s handwritten dedication and signature in blue ink, measuring 88 mm (w) x 132 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting Hauptmann Rolf Düe, in a Panzer uniform with the Knight’s Cross (awarded on 23 March 1945) and an array of other decorations clearly visible, the left side of the image overlaid by Düe’s handwritten signature in black ink, measuring 88 mm (w) x 130 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; one depicting Hauptmann Burghardt von Saldern-Wilsnack, in uniform and with the Knight’s Cross (awarded on 4 May 1944) and an array of other decorations clearly visible, the lower border overlaid by von Saldern-Wilsnack’s handwritten signature in black ink, measuring 100 mm (w) x 152 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
