(Zigaretten-Album). A rare and well-preserved 1933 edition of Deutsche Uniformen Album : SA SS HJ (German Uniform Album: SA SS HJ). Constructed of a white card stock binding, the cover bears a title in multi-coloured Fraktur script, with the upper left corner bearing a red disc overlaid by a raised and silver German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika. The back cover bears a black illustration of the Feldherrnhalle. The interior content consists of 40 paginated card stock pages pasted with all 240 original stickers featuring full-colour plates depicting the uniforms of the Sturmabteilung (SA), Schutzstaffel (SS), and HJ in order of rank. These images are supplemented by 12 additional paginated pages bearing brief histories of each branch of service in Fraktur script. All pages are divided by original wax paper liners. The album was published in 1933 by “Sturm” Zigaretten-Fabrik Dresden. It measures 285 mm (w) x 246 mm (h). The exterior demonstrates minor, age-appropriate material fatigue to the outer corners, in addition to slight discoloration of the binding, but the album retains all original images and is in a near extremely fine condition.
