Includes: 
1. Cap Badge (in antique copper, maker marked "GEO. H. LEES & Co 1915" and "ELLIS BROS" on the reverse, measuring 48 mm (w) x 44.5 mm (h), both lugs intact).
2. Collar Badge Pair (in antique copper, maker marked "GEO. H. LEES" and "ELLIS BROS" on their reverses, measuring 29.7 mm (w) x 27.5 mm (h) each, with both lugs intact on each).
Very light contact, residue evident on all three badges from cleaning, near extremely fine.
 
Footnote: The Battalion was raised in St. Catharines, Ontario with mobilization headquarters at Toronto under the authority of G.O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed January 21, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel B.J. McCormick with a strength of 463 officers and men. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 4th Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
