Norway, Hanseatic League. An Order of the Trading Colony of Bergen, Officer, c.1900

Three-piece construction, in silver with black, yellow, white and green enamels, unmarked, measuring 37.5 mm (w) x 43 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, intact enamels, original ribbon with pinback, scattered gilt wear, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, Trading Colony of Bergen insignia in gold-coloured ink on the lid, white cloth inside lid, white felt medal bed, measuring 72 mm (w) x 120.5 mm (h) x 24 mm (d), scuffing evident on the lid, wear evident in the cloth overlying the hinged area, case very fine.
