Constructed of silvered aluminum; the obverse depicting a spade with a mobile swastika on the blade, surrounded by a circular field decorated with five wheat stalks; the reverse with a catch and a double-claw spring bar assembly; marked with the logo of “F.W. Assmann & Söhne”, as well as “DRGM” and “37” on the reverse; measuring 47 mm in diameter; in overall extremely fine condition.
