Germany, NSFK. A 1938 Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps (NSFK) Air Rally Table Medal

An ovular table medal constructed of bronze, the centre bears a winged man with outstretched arms, a mobile swastika is superimposed on top of the man and above is a banner with “NSFK”, encompassed by a circumscribed border reading “Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps Deutschlandflug 1938”, the reverse is inscribed with “MIT UNSEREM FÜHRER IM GLEICHEN SCHRITT UND TRITT FLIEGEN WIR FUR UNSER EWIGES DEUTSCHLAND”(WITH OUR LEADER IN THE SAME STEP AND TAKE WE FLY FOR OUR ETERNAL GERMANY), and is numbered “4656”, measuring 94.70 mm (w) x 76.43 mm (h), very fine.
