(Wehrmacht Kompass). Constructed of a black-painted aluminum casing with loop, the base featuring a retractable measurement, the lid opening with a functional hinge to reveal a clear glass crystal with a graded face split into quadrants, retaining a central needle marked “N”, the exterior of the lid stamped with a manufacturer code of “CLK” for Breithaupt & Sohn, Kassel, measuring 54 mm (w) x 66 mm (l), the compass is no longer functional and loss of exterior paint is evident, in poor condition.
