(Waffen-SS Schulterklappen für Hauptsturmführer der Infanterie). A set of Waffen-SS Infantry Hauptsturmführer shoulder boards, each constructed of cardboard-reinforced black wool, trimmed with white piping, and topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping pinned with two gilded bronze rank pips, the reverse of one tab retaining a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) label bearing a secondary code of “170272”, the marked board measures 35 mm (w) x 110 mm (l) while its slightly shortened counterpart measures 35 mm (w) x 107 mm (l), in uniform removed and overall near extremely fine condition.
