A Luftwaffe Marksmanship Lanyard, Grade 1, consisting of an aluminum insignia in the form of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around a central Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, attached with all four original prongs to a cord constructed of dark grey rayon interspersed with silver aluminum wire chevrons, with each end completing in a loop for uniform attachment, unmarked, the insignia measuring 42 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), the cord measuring 440 mm in total length, in extremely fine condition.
