(Club Automobilistico Italiano Reale). Two-piece construction, insignia in bronze gilt with red and white enamels, illustrating the Italian left-facing spread-winged eagle, its talons gripping a fasces within a spoked wheel, framed within an angled square, with the letters "R, A, C, I" at the points of the square, clockwise from the left, inscribed "COMMISSIONE SPORTIVA" (Sports Commission) below the square, all within a wreath of laurel leaves and surmounted by the Royal Italian crown, the insignia embedded into a bronze plaque and affixed via a brass nut and washer, with two additional bronze washers on severed posts to either side, the plaque illustrating a branch of oak leaves and acorns, engraved "PALERMO-TAORMINA / - PALERMO - / 1932 - X" at the upper right, engraver marked "RiPR. VIL TATA P.C.L." on the lower left, measuring 144 mm (w) x 105 mm (h), intact enamels, very light contact, near extremely fine.
