Germany, Third Reich. A Pair of Eagle Insignia

(Adler Insignien). A pair of eagle insignia, including a Heer Officer’s visor cap eagle, constructed of a dark green wool backer, the obverse bearing a hand-embroidered silver aluminum wire Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 75 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition, and; a Reichsluftschutzbund (RLB) sleeve eagle, constructed of dark grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire RLB-style German national eagle, on an olive-drab embroidered background, unmarked, measuring 95 mm (w) x 62 mm (h), with minor material fatigue evident to the tip of the eagle’s left wing, in near extremely fine condition.
