(Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918). An iron cross paty constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse centre bears the dates “1914 1918” encompassed by a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the bottom, two upwards facing crossed swords lay in the quadrants between the arms, the reverse is plain and marked “B.H.L”, with loop for suspension on a red, black and white striped ribbon, measuring 37.54 MM (w) x 41.75 mm (h), weighing 15.2 grams, very fine.
An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 Award Document, on cream-coloured paper, awarded to the innkeeper Max Letz in Brandenburg (Havel) on 24 January 1935. The document is numbered “Nr. B. L. 16/ 35”, stamped and signed. Presenting two folding creases, with slight creasing at edges and minimal discolouration. Measuring 211 mm (w) x 149 mm (h), in overall extremely fine condition.
