Germany, HJ. A Proficiency Badge, Silver Grade, by Berg & Nolte

(Leistungsabzeichen der HJ in Silber). Constructed of cupal, the obverse consisting of a Tyr run, overlaid by a central mobile swastika, set within a ring bearing an inscription of “FÜR LEISTUNGEN IN DER H.J.” (“FOR MERIT IN THE H.J”), the reverse bearing a stamped with a number of “75188”, a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo, and a maker’s code of “M1/36” for Berg & Nolte, Lüdenscheid, measuring 29.72 mm (w) x 51.14 mm (h), weighing 8.7 grams, accompanied by its period original package of issue, constructed of light brown paper stock, the exterior bearing an inscription of “HJ LEISTUNGSABZEICHEN IN SILBER” and an analogous number of “75188”, measuring 42 mm (w) x 65 mm (h), in overall near extremely fine condition.
