Germany, Third Reich. A Danzig Air Protection League Member’s Badge

(Danzig Luftschutzbund Mitgliedsabzeichen). Constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a central blue enameled disc bearing a Danzig Luftschutzbund (DLB) insignia, surrounded by a white enameled ring bearing an inscription of “DANZIGER LUFTSCHUTZBUND” joined together by a city emblem, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 22.57 mm in diameter, weighing 4.4 grams, with minor flecking fo enamels evident, in extremely fine condition.
