A non-combatant medal bar for First World War and colonial service featuring six decorations, including a Merit Cross for War Aid, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central raised monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR KRIEGS-HILFSDIENST” (“FOR VOLUNTARY WAR AID”), unmarked, measuring 40.78 mm (w) x 41.26 mm (h); an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 for Non-Combatants, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing central wreathed dates “1914-1918”, the reverse maker marked “N. & H.” for Noelle & Hueck, Lüdenscheid, measuring 37.31 mm (w) x 41.63 mm (h); a Prussian Officer’s 25-Year Long Service Cross, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central raised monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm III, the reverse bearing a central raised number of “25” in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 39.16 mm (w) x 43.49 mm (h); a Prussian Long Service Decoration, II Class for 12 Years, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a central raised crown, circumscribed by an inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE BEI DER FAHNE” (“FAITHFUL SERVICE TO THE FLAG”), the reverse bearing a raised number “12” in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 30.02 mm in diameter; a China Medal for Non-Combatants, constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a raised depiction of a German national eagle grappling with a Chinese dragon, the reverse bearing a central raised monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II, circumscribed by an inscription of “VERDIENST UM DIE EXPEDITION NACH CHINA” (“SERVICE TO THE EXPEDITION TO CHINA”), unmarked, measuring 32.68 mm (w) x 35.38 mm (h), and; a Kaiser Wilhelm I Centenary Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 39.67 mm in diameter; all suspended from a 180 mm-long magnetic metal bar with a black cotton/rayon-blended reverse liner with horizontal pinback, unmarked, the medals demonstrating minor oxidation and loss of finish, with some fading and fatigue of the ribbons, in overall near extremely fine condition.
