Germany, NSDAP. A Political Leader’s Belt Buckle, by Friedrich Linden

(NSDAP Gürtelschnalle für Politische Leiter). Constructed of gilded aluminum, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a raised NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a clip and swivel attachment claws, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M4/24” for Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid, measuring 58 mm in diameter, with consistent but minor loss of finish evident, in overall better than very fine condition.
