Germany, SA. A Sports Badge, Bronze Grade Type II, by E. Schneider

(SA-Sportabzeichen in Bronze). Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a sword on top of a mobile swastika, the reverse with a barrel hinge and flattened vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked “E. SCHNEIDER, LÜDENSCHEID”, measuring 45.26 mm (w) x 57.90 mm (h), weighing 17.9 grams, in extremely fine condition.
