Germany, Wehrmacht. A Lot of Badges

(Wehrmacht Abzeichen). A lot of three Wehrmacht badges, including a War Merit Cross, I Class with Swords, constructed of silvered zink, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with pebbled arms, with crossed swords piercing the centre, with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a rounded catch, maker marked with LDO code “L/52” for C.F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim, measuring 48.97 mm (w) x 48.74 mm (h), weighing 18.4 grams, with most of the silver finish lost, in overall very fine condition; a Wound Badge, Black Grade, constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 36.60 mm (w) x 44.04 mm (h), weighing 13.2 grams, with moderate loss of finish, in overall very fine condition, and; a Driver’s Proficiency Badge, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, around a central raised steering wheel, unmarked, measuring 40.89 mm (w) x 44.50 mm (h), weighing 5.5 grams, in overall better than very fine condition.
