(Ehrenzeichen Kreissieger im Reichsberufswettkampf 1939). Constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a white enameled disc set within a circular laurel leaf wreath, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching an enameled HJ insignia set within a cogwheel, circumscribed by an inscription of “KREISSIEGER 1939”, the reverse with a barrel hinge and flattened vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked “H. AURICH, DRESDEN” alongside the eponymous firm’s logo, measuring 48.67 mm (w) x 48.30 mm (h), weighing 26.8 grams, with some chipping visible to the enamel of the HJ insignia in addition to scratching of the white enameled disc, in overall very fine condition.
