Prussia, Kingdom. A House Order of Hohenzollern, Member’s Decoration Miniature

(Hausorden von Hohenzollern, Adler von Inhaber Miniatur). Constructed of silver with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Hohenzollern imperial eagle clutching an orb and sceptre, its head surrounded by a halo bearing a raised inscription of “VOM FELS ZUM MEER” (“FROM THE CLIFFS TO THE SEA”), overlaid by a central black and white enameled shield, unmarked, measuring 15.27 mm (w) x 19.50 mm (h), weighing 1.6 grams, in extremely fine condition.
