A matching set of Kriegsmarine Defence Ordnance Artificer Stabsfeldwebel shoulder boards, each constructed of a dark blue wool with a card stock core, trimmed on the obverse with gold bullion wire tresses, pinned with three aluminum rank pips and gilt cyphers with a single chevron, each retaining a period original gilded bronze button bearing a raised fouled anchor on the obverse and maker marked on the reverse with the logo of F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid, each unmarked and measuring 40 mm (w) x 115 mm (l), one button has lost its reverse retaining loop, in overall extremely fine condition.
