Germany, Wehrmacht. A 1944 Afrikakorps POW Trench Art Ring

(Afrikakorps Grabenkunst-Ring). Constructed of silver, the exterior bearing a Gold plate decorated with a palm tree and camel, above an inscription of “TUNIS” and topped by a date of “1944”, the exterior bearing an illegible silversmith’s mark, corresponding to a size 8, weighing 7.1 grams, an excellent example of an Afrikakorps POW trench art in extremely fine condition.
