Spain, Fascist State. A National Service Medal of Information and Research of the JONS, No. 220, c.1930

A very rare medal constructed of silver, featuring a large imperial Spanish eagle standing on the central medallion, obverse presenting a period symbol of the Arrows and Yoke, bordered by the legend "SERVICIO NACIONAL DE INFORMACIÓN E INVESTIGACIÓN DE F. E. DE LAS JONS", plain reverse with hook and pin, numbered 220, pin marked by unknown mark “Faude Sippinge”, measuring 30.76 mm (w) x 54.34 mm (h), strongly toned silver, otherwise an exceptional piece in very good condition.

Footnote: After the unification and through its regulation the Phalange creates the National Information and Investigation Service, belonged to the Party Secretariat, and depended directly on it.
