Germany, Heer. A Pair of Panzer Insignia

(Insignien für Männer der Panzertruppe). A pair of Panzer insignia, including an Armoured Reconnaissance Leutnant shoulder board, constructed of a rose-pink wool base with a card stock core, unusually topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping on both the obverse and reverse, the former also pinned with an Armoured Reconnaissance cypher and numerals “73”, unmarked, measuring 34 mm (w) x 102 mm (l), with oxidation and material fatigue evident throughout, in fair condition, and; a generic collar tab, constructed of black wool with a buckram core, trimmed with rose-pink piping, and pinned with a silvered Totenkopf, unmarked, measuring 32 mm (w) x 62 mm (l), with extending material fatigue evident that includes the loss of most of the piping, in poor condition.
