Finely crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this Order of the White Eagle pendant is adorned with 116 round, brilliant cut diamonds on the wings and tail feathers, measuring approximately 1.4-1.5mm., weighing approximately total 1.51ct., by gauge of SI clarity, G-H colour, good cut. The center shield contains 11 round, brilliant cut rubies in the shape of a cross, and the eyes of the eagles contain 2 round, brilliant cut rubies, measuring approximately 1.3-1.4mm., weighing approximately total 0.25ct., by gauge of medium dark tone of strong, slightly purpleish-red clour, lightly to moderately included, good cut.The eagle is suspended from two crossed swords topped with a crown by two loops. The entire pendant is suspended from a flat, ovular loop engraved with a shield bearing a cross and four "C"s in each quadrant. The reverse center of the pendant bears the date "1882" within a twisted, ovular border. Measuring 28.93 mm (w) x 65.38 mm (h) and weighing 21 grams. This nationalistic pendant is in extremely fine condition.
