A pair of Deutsche Arbeitsfront (DAF) factory mess hall cutlery, including a fork, constructed of magnetic stainless steel, the obverse plain, the reverse bearing a stamped DAF logo above inscriptions of “MDA” for Modell des Amtes (“Model of the Office”) and “SCH. D. A.” for Schönheit des Arbeit (“Beauty of Labour”), also stamped “ROSTFREI” (“RUST-FREE”) indicating stainless steel construction alongside an unidentified maker’s mark, measuring 27 mm (w) x 225 mm (l), in extremely fine condition, and; a soup spoon, constructed of magnetic stainless steel, the obverse stamped with an inscription of “BARMAG”, the reverse bearing a stamped DAF logo above inscriptions of “MDA and “SCH. D. A.”, also stamped “ROSTFREI” alongside an unidentified maker’s mark, measuring 47 mm (w) x 215 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
