Germany, Heer. A Dagger Hanger

(Heer Dolchgehänge). Constructed of two field-grey doeskin wool straps topped by silver aluminum wire tresses, each suspended from zink loops bearing raised oak leaf design, each strap adjusted with a functional magnetic metal and zink alloy buckle, and both completing with functional zink alloy spring clips for attachment to the accompanying dagger’s scabbard loops, unmarked, measuring 265 mm (l), with moderate material fatigue and loss of finish evident, in very fine condition.
