Bulgaria, People’s Republic. A Pair of Orders of People’s Freedom, Medal and Breast Star Versions

A pair of Orders of People’s Freedom, including a breast star version, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels the reverse with a threaded lug retaining a period original backplate, unmarked, measuring 54 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), with some chipping and loss of finish evident to the enamels and metal, respectively, in addition to re-attachment of the obverse centrepiece upside-down, in fair condition, and; a medal version, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon on a pentagonal backplate with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), with chipping and loss of finish evident to the enamels and metal, respectively, in fair condition.
