Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Decorations and Insignia

(Abzeichen und Insignien). A mixed lot of three decorations and insignia, including a DRL Sports Badge, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a ribbon overlaid by a mobile swastika, around stylized initials “DRL” on a hollow background, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked “HENSLER, PFORZHEIM”, measuring 39.42 mm (w) x 48.37 mm (h), weighing 17.6 grams, with sporadic oxidation evident, in very fine condition; a miniature DRL Sports Badge, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze, vertical pinback, the reverse maker marked “WERNSTEIN, JENA”, measuring 19.98 mm (w) x 17.23 mm (h), weighing 1.8 grams, in extremely fine condition, and; a Heer Gebirgsjäger edelweiss cap insignia, constructed of silvered bronze, perforated with five holes for sew-on attachment, unmarked, measuring 38 mm (w) x 54 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition.
