Germany, Heer. An EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle, by E. Schneider

(Heer Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, maker marked with the logo of E. Schneider, Lüdenscheid, around a manufacture date of “42”, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in better than very fine condition.
