A mixed lot of four service decorations including a 1939 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of iron and silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central mobile swastika, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1939”, the reverse six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “40” for Berg & Nolte, Lüdenscheid, measuring 43.66 mm (w) x 47.74 mm (h), weighing 17.9 grams, in very fine condition; an Eastern Front Medal, constructed of silvered and patinated zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “WINTERSCHLACHT IM OSTEN 1941/42” (“WINTER BATTLE IN THE EAST 1941/42”), above a crossed sword and laurel branch, topped by a Stahlhelm and stick grenade, unmarked, measuring 35.86 mm (w) x 43.96 mm (h), weighing 19.1 grams, in extremely fine condition; a Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “81” for Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid, measuring 36.94 mm (w) x 43.97 mm (h), weighing 11.9 grams, in extremely fine condition, and; a Civil Service 25-Year Faithful Service Decoration, constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a central black swastika, the reverse bearing a central inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 40.87 mm (w) x 45.55 mm (h), weighing 19.5 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a two-piece card stock frame with a faux red leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a silvered number “25” within a cogwheel the interior with a red felt lid liner and slotted medal bed, the former retaining a maker’s label reading “PAUL MEYBAUER, BERLIN”, measuring 50 mm (w) x 100 mm (l) x 15 mm (h), the ribbon its missing its pin and there is material fatigue throughout the case, in very fine condition.
