Germany, HJ. An Enlisted Personnel Belt Buckle, by Klein & Quenzer

(HJ Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised German national eagle clutching a HJ insignia, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “BLUT UND EHRE” (“BLOOD AND HONOUR”), the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M5/276” for Klein & Quenzer, Idar-Oberstein, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with some loss of finish evident to the obverse, in near extremely fine condition.
