An example of a matching pair of first war period Imperial Prussian Fliegertruppe Leutnant shoulder boards; constructed of four rows of fine silvered bullion copper wire wrapped around a white core, interlaced with black threading, wrapped in a U-shape, in a chevron formation, with a gilt aluminum pip attached to the obverse; the underside with a grey cotton underside; measuring 43 mm (w) x 105 mm (h); an uniform removed pair, with one of the tabs slightly coming off from its underside; in overall fine condition.
