(Luftwaffe Fliegerschützenabzeichen). Constructed of silvered and patinated silvered zink, the wreath consisting of laurel leaves on the left side of the wreath, and oak leaves on the right side of the wreath, with a mobile swastika on the bottom of the wreath, and an eagle superimposed onto the badge holding lightning bolts in its talons, the reverse plain, with a vertical needle style pinback, a barrel hinge, and a flat wire catch, marked with the logo of F.W. Assmann on the reverse, measuring 41.69 mm (w) x 53.49 mm (h), weighing 23.8 grams, in good condition.
