A mixed lot of 12 badges, including an HJ cap badge, constructed of bronzer with multi-coloured enamels, the reverse with both attachment prongs intact, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/155” for Schwertner & Cie, Eggenberg, measuring 15 mm (w) x 25 mm (h), with minor flecking of enamels, in very fine condition; an HJ membership badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 14 mm (w) x 24 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a painted HJ membership badge, constructed of zink, vertical pinback the reverse bearing an RZM maker’s code of “M1/146” for Anton Schenkls Nachfolger, Vienna, measuring 15 mm (w) x 25 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; an HJ Proficiency Badge, Silver Grade, constructed of a silvered bronze alloy, the obverse consisting of a Tyr rune overlaid by a mobile swastika, surrounded by a circular ring bearing an inscription of “FÜR LEISTUNGEN IN DER H.J.” (“FOR MERIT IN THE H.J.”), the reverse with a vertical pinback, marked with an RZM logo and maker’s code of “M1/63” for Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid, measuring 30 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), with some loss of finish evident, in very fine condition, and; eight Third Reich-period commemorative badges reflecting various events and organizations, with examples constructed of bronze, zink, and magnetic metal, all with intact horizontal and vertical pinbacks, some demonstrating oxidation or loss of finish, in overall very fine condition.
