(Medaillen und Insignien). A mixed lot of six medals and decorations, including a 1914 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of iron and silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with three central oak leaves, the six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the twelve o’clock arm with initials “FW” topped by a royal crown, measuring 43.53 mm (w) x 47.86 mm (h), weighing 18.2 grams, in near extremely fine condition; two Prussian Red Cross Honour Medals, both constructed of zink and on loop for suspension from period original ribbons, each unmarked and measuring 33.40 mm in diameter, both demonstrating near-total loss of finish and one medal with a postwar replacement loop, in overall very fine condition; a Social Welfare Decoration, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension, the obverse bearing a raised Geneva Cross overlaid by a central German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “MEDAILLE FÜR DEUTSCHE VOLKSPFLEGE” (“MEDAL FOR THE CARE OF THE GERMAN PEOPLE”), unmarked, measuring 38.17 mm in diameter, weighing 24.6 grams, with some loss of finish evident, in very fine condition; a 1 1. Maschinengewehr-Kompanie 1 (Infanterie-Regiment 402) identification tag, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension, measuring 70 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in very fine condition, and; a Red Cross stick pin, constructed of machine-embroidery, measuring 21 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in very fine condition.
