Laos, Kingdom. An Order of the Reign of Sisavang Vong, II Class Silver Grade, c.1945

(Itsariyaphon Phahobommahup). Instituted in 1923. Type II. In silver, obverse illustrating the left-facing bust of King Sisavang Vong King of Laos, surrounded by the inscription "SA MAJESTÉ SISAVANG VONG ROI DU LAOS", reverse illustrating the Laotian coat-of-arms, surrounded by the inscription "SOMDET PHRA CHAO LANE SANG HOM KHAO PHRA RAJA-ANACHAK LAO", measuring 33 mm (w) x 55.7 mm (h) inclusive of its crown and laterally-pierced ball suspension, dark patina, bruised, original ribbon, near extremely fine.
