(Medalia Cruciada împotriva comunismului). Constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a raised Latin Cross overlaid by a hand clutching a sword, circumscribed by an inscription of “CRUCIADA ÎMPOTRIVA COMUNISMULUI” (“CRUSADE AGAINST COMMUNISM”), the reverse bearing a leftward-facing female profile, circumscribed by an inscription of “ROMÂNIA RECUNOSCĂTOARE” (“ROMANIA IS GRATEFUL”), engraver-marked “P. GRANT”, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, affixed with three silvered campaign clasps reading “AZOV” (Battle of the Sea of Azov), “BUCOVINA” (Soviet occupation of Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina), and “NIPRU” (Battle of the Dnieper), measuring 32.13 mm in diameter, weighing 16.5 grams, in extremely fine condition.
