Constructed of black wool with a buckram core, the obverse bearing a single silver aluminum wire tresse bisected by a black threaded band, pinned with a silver zink rank pip, unmarked, measuring 45 mm (w) x 60 mm (l), the wool demonstrates moderate material fatigue and the rank pip shows significant oxidation, a field-worn and uniform-removed example in very fine condition.
