(Medaillen). A pair of medals, including a Russian-German Legion Commemorative Service Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from a trapezoidal backplate with horizontal pinback, the obverse maker marked “CARL POELLATH, SCHROBENHAUSEN”, measuring 40 mm in diameter, missing its ribbon and with some oxidation evident, in very fine condition, and; an Austrian Silver Bravery Medal, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised and rightward-facing profile of Emperor Franz Joseph, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “DER TAPFERKEIT” (“TO BRAVERY”), the obverse engraver marked “TAUTENHAYN”, measuring 31.10 mm in diameter, weighing 18.2 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
