JUNCKER, BERLIN”, measuring 43.56 mm (w) x 52.63 mm (h), weighing 28.2 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a light wooden frame with a faux dark blue leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a gilt inscription of “LUFTWAFFEN-FLIEGERSCHÜTZEN-ABZEICHEN”, the interior with a blue rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a slotted blue felt medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 68 mm (w) x 76 mm (l) x 28 mm (h), with some loss of finish evident to the badge, in overall better than very fine condition.
