Germany, Kriegsmarine. An Officer’s Summer Uniform Breast Eagle

(Kriegsmarine Brustadler). Constructed of gilded aluminum, the obverse consisting of an elongated Kriegsmarine-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with an integral hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, with a stabilizer emanating from the wreathed, marked “M” indicating Kriegsmarine issue, measuring 95 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
