A 1939 copy of “Volksverrat - Der Feldlogen im Weltkriege” (“Treason Against the People - The Field Lodges in the in the World War”), constructed of a card stock binding, the exterior finished in black and bearing a full-colour illustration, name, and title on the cover, the interior content consisting of 248 paginated pages of text, asserting the conspiracy theory that Freemasons conspired with treasonous groups on the front and at home to undermine Germany’s effort during the First World War, much of it intersecting with contemporary anti-Semitic rhetoric, written by Friedrich Hasselbacher, published by Nordland-Verlage, Berlin, measuring 160 mm (w) x 215 mm (h), with material fatigue evident, including partial detachment of the binding, in very fine condition.
