Constructed of silvered and patinated zink, consisting of an oak and laurel wreath, bearing a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a hand-filed mobile swastika, the reverse plain with a vertical pinback, and a unique barrel hinge and repaired round wire catch, unmarked but displaying the typical manufacturing characteristics by maker FLL (Friedrich Linden Lüdenscheid ), measuring 65.72 mm (w) x 53.09 mm (h), weighing 42.7 grams, the catch period repaired, but in overall good condition.
