Germany, SS. A Mint Pair of Suede Dress Gloves

(SS Handschuhe). A pair of unissued SS dress gloves, each constructed of smooth slate-grey suede, the obverse of each hand reinforced between the digits with machine-embroidered darts, both featuring a multi-piece machine-reinforced thumb channel, both wrists with reinforced slits flanked by dual sets of functional snap buttons for comfortable wear, all buttons bearing an inscription of “ECHT WILDLEDER” (“GENUINE WILD LEATHER”), with the lower stud of each snap button retaining a string connecting to a period original SS Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) label, the interior of each glove presenting with a smooth cream-coloured finish, both stamped on the inside with a code of “210/4/39”, flanked on the left by a RZM logo and on the right by double Sig runes, the right hand stamped with a mark of “8 ¾”, and both stamped with an illegible additional mark, both measuring 100 mm (w) x 265 mm (l) when folded on a flat surface, in unused and near mint condition.
