Germany, Heer. A 1941 Armoured Reconnaissance Battalion 7 Medallion by Deschler & Sohn

(Panzeraufklärungsabteilung Erinnerungsmedaille). Constructed of zink, the obverse with a leftward-facing Heer (Army) soldier circumscribed by an inscription of “3. PZ. AUFKLÄRUNGSABTLG. 7, 4. PANZERDIV.”, the reverse with a central Iron Cross flanked by laurel branches, topped by an inscription of “PROPOISZK”, with a date of “14.7.1941” at the bottom, maker marked “Deschler, München”, measuring 50.41 mm in diameter, weighing 40.7 grams, in extremely fine condition.
